Director, Design Technology

We are seeking seasoned CAD professionals to join our team to build the first software defined end-to-end, automated fulfillment system. Responsibilities

Set the CAD standards. Our CAD standards will be key to the seamless integration of multimillion dollar automation hardware.
Collaborate with teams including top automation equipment suppliers, silicon valley software team, global engineering firms, A&E companies.
Architect and implement PDM to facilitate documentation sharing and management. We believe that good engineering governance delivers us a competitive advantage.
Experience

You are a CAD expert and know SolidWorks backwards and forwards
You have experience setting up CAD departments and standards for industrial machinery/automation companies (e.g. ideally you’ve worked for a leading system integrator)
You can add value helping shape and contributing to the engineering plans
You’ve done this before - and know how to do it better (and have developed definitive opinions on what to do and what not to do)
You thrive on turning ambiguity and chaos into a coherent and well run plan (with the right balance of process, rigor, innovation and fun)
