At Holos, we're developing a general-purpose spatial computing system for AR and VR, and deploying it in the educational and training fields to let people take control over their learning and personal growth like never before. Our product is built on top of proven technologies like Leap Motion's hand tracking, Valve’s SteamVR platform, and Apple’s ARKit platform.

You'll work alongside our CTO, in a very generalist and multidisciplinary role. You'll be best suited for this if you are intrinsically motivated about technology, design, and education, as these are the domains that we're trying to help improve. We welcome friendly, curious individuals that understand the power of communication, knowledge, and teamwork to apply.

Your responsibilities would be, but not exclusive to:
- Collaborating with the CTO and co-founder to design, prototype, implement, and maintain interaction mechanics such as virtual objects, tools, and augmented gestures.
- Monitoring and recording of user tests without interacting with the users
- Formulating new design decisions & product directions based off of your observations during user testing.
- Giving our virtual tutor character the ability to explain the interaction mechanics we create.

Prerequisite Skills & Experience:
- Several years of experience with Unity programming game mechanics.
- Demonstrate ability to add 'juice' to virtual object interactions.
- An understanding of physics (joints, forces, constraints, collider types, etc.).
- Working understanding of geometry for light procedural generation of simple meshes and object layouts.
- Git for source control.

Nice to have:
- Particles, Shader, & VFX experience.
- Understanding of human factors, human-computer-interaction design, UX.
- Networking w/UNET or similar networking package.

Strongly prefer candidates that have:
- Prior experience with Leap Motion hand tracking and Interaction Engine.
