About the company and role

Holidify is India’s #1 and fastest-growing travel planning platform with more than 8 million monthly visitors on its website. Started in 2014 by IIT-Bombay graduates, it now covers more than 1000+ destinations in India and abroad.

In this context, we are looking for a Business Development and Sales Lead who will understand and work on the immense opportunity of travel planning space and spearhead the business growth and strategy of the company

What we are looking for

-You are an effective communicator and a quick learner.

-You are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

-You should represent the company and will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, negotiating and closing business partnerships with different types of clients that could include-hotels & resorts, online and offline travel agents, consumer brands etc.

-Your top 2 key result areas(KRAs) are no. of partnerships/sales and gross revenue to the company.

-You will be expected to think about delivering the right partnership solutions to the clients and have the ability to convey Holidify’s value propositions to them.

-You will be expected to keep a close eye over competitors in the context of business developments.

- You will understand Holidify as a product, articulate its value proposition and key offerings to prospective clients

- You will define and execute a business development plan that is in line with the business objectives of the company

-You will build a network of clients, engage and establish a long term partnership with them

- You will ideate and articulate new partnership programs, products and features.
-You will be expected to travel (both intra and inter-city) as per requirement and company policy.

Prior Experience and skills:

- Should have 1-3 years experience in business partnerships, sales, post-sales and business development.

- Understanding of online travel space, startups and tech-products would be an advantage

- Analytical skills and ability to manage the business - by the numbers.

- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

-Ability to express thoughts logically.

- Highly consultative and solutions-oriented.

- Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desirable.

-- Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards

-Experience in media agencies, travel startups will be an advantage
