​A Senior Account Executive at Hockeystick is an entrepreneur and a builder. You will be given the freedom to run the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will also help us grow the sales organization including hiring and training Business Development Representatives.

Our customers are VCs and startups who use Hockeystick data and software tools. You are interested in shaping the way data is used in private markets and are obsessed with helping customers use data to drive their business.

Your Responsibilities
- Independently research our industry and build your own prospect list and network
- Convert marketing qualified leads into customers
- Do Web demos and presentations to senior level executives in VC/PE and other industries
- Negotiate and close sales
- Work with the founders to build the sales organization and processes

Required Experience
- 4 years experience outside selling technology products on a quota
- Demonstrable experience with modern sales processes and tools
- Prior experience training or managing sales staff
- A Bachelor's degree in any field
