Sawyer, the out of school enrichment solution for modern parents, is searching for a Growth Product Manager, SEO to be the authority on SEO and push our thinking forward. You will join an innovative, mission-driven organization as a foundational member of our product team and own the very top of our funnel, increasing the quantity and quality of parents’ search traffic to our website, hisawyer.com. This position reports directly to the Product Manager.

You will work closely with all parts of the growth team - GM Consumer Marketplace, marketing, and analytics - as well as product, design and engineering teams, to conceive and execute growth initiatives and new product tests. You will also interface regularly with the executive team as we are invested in making SEO a growth lever for Sawyer and will be making a serious investment in this category. In any given week, you may be working with product and engineering teams to implement a new set of landing pages, executing SEO-driven tests on the hisawyer.com site, or performing deep analysis on click-through rate user behavior from AB test results on SERPs.

Core Responsibilities:
• Ultimately, success is growing quantity and quality of the traffic to our site.
• Owning initiatives and independent user stories: being the person driving the initiative forward, executing and validating the impact of the initiative once released.
• Effectively using data and analytics to support strategic and tactical initiatives and the creation of the product roadmap.
-Develop, manage, iterate and set an SEO roadmap to meaningfully
grow our search volume, iterating on this monthly to quarterly
• Perform keyword research and work with content strategy leads to optimize existing content and develop new opportunities
• Optimize metadata and header tags across all web pages to deliver superior SERP listings
• Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites - both to improve existing domains and review new launches
• Report, monitor and deliver against key metrics including traffic, conversion customer growth, revenue growth, cost per acquisition and lead generation volume as it relates to SEO
• Keep pace with SEO and search engine industry trends and developments
• Lead efforts to solve complex SEO problems, moving quickly to implement ideas and deliver results
• Trouble-shoot complex optimization processes and either improve processes or build new tools via engineering teams
• Dive into issues and incidents as they occur, help resolve or escalate them and drive them to resolution
• Work with external SEO experts

About You:
• 2-4 years of experience in enterprise SEO for a digital company, ideally with experience managing greater than 50k landing pages.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in economics, mathematics, statistics, marketing, advertising
• You are curious about how things work and why. You are not satisfied with a superficial knowledge of how something works, or why users take a certain action.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SEO best practice: you should know the foundations of SEO.
• Experience working with popular keyword tools: Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, Majestics SEO, Oncrawl or ScreamingFrog etc
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment
• Exceptional quantitative skills and aptitude including advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional analytical skills to measure the success of the SEO programs and to expand upon that success
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in person and in writing
