Helixtap Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-headquartered technology firm focused on disrupting the Commodities landscape, starting with the Rubber industry. We own and operate a proprietary platform which connects the different participants in the Rubber industry to one another, and facilitates the execution of trades and exchange of information seamlessly. The immediate aim is simple: to become the ubiquitous, one-stop online marketplace for the institutional participants in the Rubber industry.
About the role
We’re looking for a Strategy Lead to work together with the CEO to drive the firm’s strategic growth while managing its operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about getting his/her hands dirty as well as being a key advocate for positive, technology-led change in the commodities industry.

*Your day-to-day will involve: *
- Building key internal processes and best practices for the firms’ various functions
- Identifying and executing initiatives across existing and future market verticals (incl. geographical expansion, business line expansion, etc.)
- Keeping an eye on operating expenses and putting in systems to ensure cash burn is managed
- Establishing key vendor relationships and negotiating contract terms
- Building up strategic partnerships with key industry participants/stakeholders
- Working closely with team leaders to support cross-functional goals
- Developing and managing relationships with prospective partners
- Building business models and forecasting operational performance metrics
- Providing regular operational and strategic updates to the Board and Investors
- Proposing, leading and executing fund-raising rounds where necessary
- Some things we consider critical for this role:
- Strategic mindset with a focus on problem-solving
- 7+ years experience in business development, investment banking, or strategy in the technology or financial services industry
- Financially numerate and strong understanding of accounting principles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
- Resourceful, persistent and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify and prioritize key initiatives and related tasks
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
