Who you are

You are a person who would be excited to build and run an ecommerce business within a startup that already has venture backing, and a strong team behind it. You might have ecommerce experience, running your own site, selling on Amazon or doing affiliate marketing. Or you might be an experienced startup marketer or product manager who wants to expand your role, and get experience pulling all the levers, and managing an entire P&L.

The truth is, even in hiring, we really are a “human potential company.” That means we believe in potential (curiosity, motivation, hustle) over experience. Put another way, what you have done matters far less than what you could do, and how quickly you can jump in and learn.

In any case, you join a critical time in our journey as we take our first product to market and look to scale and grow rapidly.

Your Job

Joining the Heights team at this exciting, early and pivotal stage of our journey will require you to be someone who thrives on getting stuck in to challenges by loving being customer facing, multi-tasking like a pro, a fast learner who quickly adapts, a natural team player who is outcome focussed.

Outcomes

- Research and deliver nuanced customer profiles with motivations
- Experiment towards weekly improvements in 7 day retention (we're working from the bottom up), and weekly improvements in onsite conversion
- That said, we love free thinkers and encourage you to devise new metrics you think more accurately show the improvements we need to make

What levers do you have to make a difference?

- Research to help us refine our understanding of the Heights customer and where we find them
- Create compelling content, through landing pages, blog posts, newsletters and notifications
- Define and refine messaging within physical touch points as well
- Experiment with additional channels and tools (e.g. Whatsapp, SMS, phonecalls etc)

We use a number of no-coding platforms so it is easy to make rapid changes and see the results of your work. (Meaning you don't need to be a coder, but you need to be comfortable learning new tech). That way we can iterate and learn as fast as we can think and execute experiments.
