Domio Sports (Elevety) is a growing tech wearable start-up that is developing and building innovative solutions in audio and communications for a number of applications in action sports, industrial, and military. We are a passionate team with backgrounds in engineering and sales & marketing and a flair for actions sports and outdoor activities. Last year we launched our first product Domio and after a successful crowdfunding campaign, this year is monumental for the company as we roll out a number of exciting products into the marketplace. We are seeking a bright, creative engineering graduate in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and excited to help us develop our next line of products!

The Role

This is an incredible opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion to bring consumer products to life. We are looking for an engineer (Mechanical or Industrial) with a myriad of responsibilities in manufacturing, engineering, operations, procurement, and design. Reporting directly to the head of product and operations, you will take the leading role in helping to finalize design specifications, work with new and existing suppliers, pricing & supply contract negotiation, liaise with our manufacturing partners in China and Mexico, oversee logistics, and execute on design and manufacturing cost improvements. You are about to graduate or have recently graduated from a Mech/Ind Engineering program. You will build on prior work experiences where you worked in some aspects of product design, development, and operations in co-op or internship roles. You are not necessarily a CAD guru, but you have a basic understanding of mechanical design principles, prototyping, and manufacturing. You have some experience in project management, operations, manufacturing or NPI (new product introduction). You work well independently, but love having deep, creative conversations about product design and strategy with the rest of the founding team. You will be working directly with the co-founder who leads overall product development efforts.
