Job description - Product Designer

Product Designer is a critical product role for creating a consistent, usable and functional experience for various services that 1mg provides. As a designer, you will work in a diverse design team and will coordinate closely with the product and development teams. Your work helps in creating both holistic design directions and detailed workflows for digital experiences.

Responsibilities :
Contribute as a creative on TATA 1mg’s consumer facing products.
Translate requirements into defined design objectives.
Develop high level and detailed concepts, storyboards, mockups and prototypes.
Communicate effectively with the design and product team to present ideas.
Factor stakeholder and user considerations in designs.
Manage projects, ensure that all designs are executed at the highest quality levels.
Scope design team initiatives, set priorities, and direct team to ensure timely delivery.
Foster a creative, inclusive environment that empowers every individual to contribute fully.
Evangelize and implement design process led approach to create solutions.
Regularly present the team’s work to senior managers and executives for review and feedback.
Create UX that balances consistency across all our platforms with mobile and device specific needs.
Keep upto date with various design innovations and practices.

*Requirements : *
Relevant design education adhering to a deep understanding of the design process.
Minimum 3 years (Product Designer) / 5 years (Sr. Product Designer) of experience on-designing core experiences for mobile and web platforms.
Exceptional folks with less years of experience are also considered.
Complete grasp of design process with a keen eye for details.
Expert in using the design and prototyping tools of preference.
Experience working in a fast paced and iterative product development environment.
A holistic understanding of technology is a plus.
Ability to document the design process and validate designs with users.
