**Who We’re Looking For**

A Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) must have at least 2 years of programming experience. QAE is expected to be familiar with typical quality assurance requirements from a software development perspective. These include but are not limited to unit tests, integration tests, code coverage, event logging and alarm systems for critical features. Besides creating these tests and features QAE must guarantee that all of these tests (1) run on a regular basis and (2) are properly documented and accessible to all team members.


**Requirements**

- At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies
- Experience on writing API and Data AQA scripts or using tools like Postman
- A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering


**We expect you to**

- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
- Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
- Oversee continuous improvement projects
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
