Android Engineer

At Harmonize, our engineering team specializes in integrating complex medical technologies (sensors/IoT, analytics vendors, and high-touch services) and presenting them in simple interfaces for medical staff – many of whom are unfamiliar with operating advanced technologies.

We are looking for internally driven engineers who are passionate about healthcare, enjoy solving problems, and are motivated to make a real difference in the lives of people.

What you should have

• 2+ years of practical experience in Android product development (you’ve shipped and managed at least 1 Android apps)
• Hands on experience with our tech stack (Kotlin, Java, Gradle, Dagger, RXJava)
• A familiarity with the Android tool ecosystem for development, testing, debugging, and performance benchmarking
• A constant desire to improve, learn more and make things to the next level

Bonus points

• Developing in Jetpack and Compose w/ MVVM
• Experience with Android Bluetooth APIs
• Experience with Mobile Device Management

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
