**About the role**

The Strategy and Operations Associate role is a unique opportunity to have a large impact in a fast growing organization. Handy is seeking for an analytical thinker to drive business operations and optimization of the supply-side of Handy’s marketplace - our Independent Contractor base. The goal is to ensure we set up for success our pros, and that we are doing it in the most seamless way to provide customers a great experience. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a company that is changing the home services industry.

**What you’ll do**

- Own and manage the relationship with Handy’s Independent Contractor base, driving strategic projects to enable our growth
- Support the development of data analysis to support decision-making on region expansion and marketing spend 
- Be the owner of insights and weekly reporting on key performance indicators reviewed by our C-level executives
- Develop and manage a remote team of operations agents to perform critical tasks that enable the functionality of the platform 
- Work closely with internal teams to ideate ways to drive continuous improvement in the professional’s experience by diving deep into qualitative and quantitative data
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to implement changes throughout the tech stack
- Learn, learn, learn!! 

**What we're looking for**

- Someone eager to learn and grow!
- 2+ years in an analytical role in finance/operations (at a tech startup, preferred)
- Excellent foundation in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with ZenDesk is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management; must be able to multitask
