Job Description

Guestbnb is building the future of home style accommodations, with a focus on guest satisfaction. Each selected home features instant online booking, personalized accommodations and a super host service. We are bridging the gap between Airbnb and traditional Hotels.

As Market Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining our portfolio of suites.

The Role
You will play an integral role in managing our growing portfolio of rental suites, overseeing your area as a mini-CEO. You will have weekly meetings with our COO and work directly with the executive team, playing a key role in our business growth and transformation. Our clients trust us to manage their most prized possession: their home. This role is dynamic and no day is the same. It is your responsibility to ensure that unexpected issues are resolved right away to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable stay.

What You Will Do

• You will work closely with our COO to build, transform, and scale upon on our business operations in Toronto
• Build a world-class team of operations and guest coordinators
• Work closely with our CFO to own the P&L
• Oversee the on-boarding pipeline from planning and executing renovations to bringing homes/units to rentable status
• Use a host of apps like Slack, Asana, PMS

Day-to-day Tasks
• On boarding new Guestbnb locations
• Coordinating maintenance and solving emergency logistic issues
• Communicating with our partners
• Quality control Inspections
• Host relations, keeping updated on ongoing issues, maintain responsiveness
• Managing hospitality supplies
• Assisting with photoshoots
• Housekeeping as needed
• Check in guests if needed
• Revenue management

We are a growing dynamic start-up. As such, the successful candidate is someone who is ready to ramp up without needing close supervision and is passionate about hospitality, operations, and the start-up life.

You are
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making and management skills, self-starter, strong analytical capabilities and emotional intelligence
• You truly understand Airbnb, for hosts and for guests, and bonus if you have previously worked in the hospitality industry
• Availability to work 7 days of the week, on call
• Ability to develop professional relationships with clients
• A proven ability to handle ambiguous situations and conflicts without defined standards operating systems and processes
• At times, can handle physical work

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
