Groove is looking to hire a Head of Customer Success to join our San Francisco team. You will play a critical role in helping companies understand the value of our product, ensuring a successful implementation, as well as maintaining a long term relationship for the customer to scale up the adoption. The ultimate success of our customers is the top priority for Groove, and you will be responsible for scaling the team and the associated processes and playbook to support our thousands of customers. You’ll join our small but quickly growing San Francisco team!


Responsibilities:
- Hire, coach, train and develop the team, - build a team that wins
- Motivate, mentor, and empower the team to solve problems creatively
- Work cross-functionally with the Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
- Work closely with the Engineering team to prioritize deliverables and ensure smooth prospect-to-customer transitions and long-term customer success
- Track and manage overall team performance using KPIs
- Be an expert on Groove’s product
- Create best practices, knowledge bases, and webinars to maximize product use and drive retention

Requirements:
- You have led a sales, customer success, operations, or account management team in a fast paced startup environment
- You have great management, communication, and presentation skills
- You have a demonstrated track record of hitting your goals and aligning a team around key metrics
- You have experience with building scalable teams and managing difficult situations
- You have at least 3-5+ years of SaaS experience in customer facing roles
