Job Overview

Good Eggs is looking for a Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of analysts in uncovering data insights to enable high quality business decisions across the company. This role will work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and facilitate advanced analytics and reporting as well as improve the efficiency and effectiveness of deeper analysis throughout the company. We are looking for self-directed people who are willing to be hands-on with projects, take pride in their work, execute on it, and deliver phenomenal results.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 3-5 data analysts
* Work with business leaders to define metrics, monitor performance, and make data-driven decisions through dashboards and ad hoc analysis, for example:
* insights into business, team, and product health
* tracking success of feature rollouts and process changes
* inputs to decisions that impact day-to-day operational efficiency
* Refine ambiguous questions and generate new hypotheses through a deep understanding of the data, our customers, and our business
* Analyze opportunities and problems to drive company prioritization and strategy
* Work side-by-side with engineering peers to refine data models, improve analytics tooling, and push data-first thinking to the source
* Help evolve our culture of data to include predictive data analytics, automatic feedback loops, and other data science methodologies

Required Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years industry experience in data analytics
* At least 2 years of experience in people management, with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor data analysts
* Strong experience in using efficient and optimized SQL queries to perform analysis and create reports
* Proficient with at least one scripting language (Python, R, Javascript, etc.)
* Experience working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Heap Analytics, Chartmogul, Baremetrics, Periscope, Tableau, Mode Analytics, Looker, or similar
* Skilled at running cross-functional relationships and distill insights into a compelling, concise data story
* Up-to-date on the latest analytics trends in tools and methodologies. 
* Ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with stakeholders coming from both technical and non-technical backgrounds
* Passionate and attentive self-starters, great communicators, amazing follow-through - you have a great work ethic and love the responsibilities from being personally empowered
