An award winning venture backed company, GoKid is solving the transportation needs of 50 million US school children requiring 7.5 billion annual car rides by helping parents carpool with other parents that they know and trust. We are a small but driven team with a big vision and the skills to execute. We are looking for a highly skilled growth marketer who shares our vision and can help us grow our brand and increase conversions. We love to work with hard working people we value and trust, and can have fun with!

GoKid has a carpool organization app (iOS, Android, web) marketed directly to consumers as well as an add-on to our app (GoKid Connect) that we sell to schools, teams and communities on a SaaS model. We are looking to step up our marketing (from 0, essentially) and increase both B2C and B2B conversions through a combination of email campaigns, social media, paid search,and app install campaigns as well as any other avenues that make sense.

The person we are looking for will…
- Understand the core principles of viral marketing and have experience implementing them ideally in the parenting and edtech space
- Have proven success scaling apps from a small audience to levels of meaningful adoption and growth
- Have prior experience in a marketing position within a startup environment (can grow on a lean marketing budget!)
- Be familiar with a variety of marketing approaches especially email marketing, social media campaigns, linkedin
- Be familiar with setting up email and outreach campaigns in Hubspot, Mailchimp and via Linkedin
- Identify, implement, test and measure new growth tactics and novel marketing methods. Constantly measuring what is and isn’t working and tweaking the growth strategy where required
- Establish processes and report systems to ensure experimentation and measurement can be done in a scaleable and repeatable model.
- Be deeply analytical - passionate about testing, data, and metrics.
- Have a deep understanding of how to measure results and gather KPIs into analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Appsflyer, and Klipfolio.
- Have demonstrated the ability to innovate, adapt, and learn in previous positions, and be someone willing to try a variety of methods for marketing, from ads to speaking to leads on the phone.
- Have excellent communication skills

Requirements:
- 3+ years of online marketing experience.
- 1+ year(s) of experience with Facebook ads, AdWords and other types of online advertising.
- Strong data analytics capabilities (Mixpanel, Appsflyer, Klipfolio, Google Sheets).
- Strong marketing copywriting skills
- Highly organized, thinks and works fast, can execute complex tasks with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated history as a proactive problem solver.

What you’ll do:
- You will be responsible for developing and executing an online marketing strategy for user acquisition to the GoKid carpool organizing app and lead acquisition for GoKid Connect.
- Expand online presence with a diverse range of marketing tools, targeting busy parents of school-aged children, school administrators, sports coaches and smart city / mobility initiatives
- Execute customer acquisition campaigns across social media, paid search, email, and app install campaigns - in cooperation with our SEO team
- Drive users through the funnel with lead nurturing, content marketing, and external remarketing campaigns.
- Optimize campaigns and test new tactics, messaging, and audiences to increase efficiency and decrease CPA.
- Track and analyze customer data with tools including Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Mixpanel, and Intercom
- Create and operationalize process for A/B testing campaigns, audiences, landing pages, product marketing.

The role is part time based remotely or NYC - can grow into a full time position in the next 3 months.
