Responsibilities
• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces across both mobile platforms(Android + IOS).
• Follow industry best practices, aware of security issues in mobile applications.
• Discuss with the cross-functional team, prepare technical documentation, and implement the same.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Participate in constant code reviews, discussions for improvement with seniors and colleagues.
Skills
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Android and IOS mobile application development using react-native.
• Should have worked on at least 1 react-native project for both IOS and Android from scratch to deployment.
• Firm grasp of JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6 + syntax
• Hands-on experience with React Native APIs, Redux, JSX, ECMAScript (OOJS), HTML, CSS
• Knowledge of Node.js, NPM is plus.
• Knowledge of functional, object-oriented programming language.
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code.
• Strong at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
• Familiarity with code versioning & defect tracking tools (such as Git, SVN, Jira).
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio, Gradle.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites (plus).
• Prior experience in e-commerce application development (plus).
• A team player with excellent communication skills
