Emerging from the Founders Factory incubator, we have the unique opportunity of working with L'Oréal UK as our partners. Our mission is simple: build a product that salons don’t need to be persuaded to use- they just want to.


Role Description:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Area Manager, who self starts to generate new leads, passionately showcasing the product to ensure sign up and then train the team so all users are comfortable in using Slick day to day.


Key Responsibilities:
Use outbound calls, emails and visits to generate your own lead database. You are happy self-starting with high attention to detail and organisational ability.

Challenge mindsets. We are converting people to a new way of working and our Sales team need to be highly adept at challenging customer mindsets with strong ability to persuade and deal with challenges.

Qualify all leads to identify if our product fits their needs and if they meet our criteria checklist. Ability to listen to questions and identify likely blockers or positive signals is key.

Using your knowledge of Slick and customer requirements, skilfully showcase how Slick can address their business needs. Handle objections and questions using knowledge of our product offering.

Liaise with salon and Slick Onboarding team to set up account and organise export/import of relevant client data.

Train your account to ensure they are able to run their business via Slick and get maximum value from the platform.

Manage lead pipeline and balance sales funnel to deliver consistent sales results in order to hit territory monthly targets as set by Leadership Team.

Act as eyes and ears of the company. Feeding back customer needs on features, product design and competitor behaviour. Be proactive in offering feedback on internal processes and strategy to improve sales and company performance.

This role requires flexibility on working hours - salons are open later than your typical 9 to 5 and our support needs to reflect this. You will be field based with flexibility regarding working from home.


We’ll be needing you to:
Know our product and its features like the back of your hand. Essential as you will be explaining the product in detail with prospective customers!
Be resilient and determined. We are changing decades of behaviour so you need to be adept in challenging mindsets, receiving lots of “not for me” and being able to bounce back.
Understand and be passionate about the industry and our mission to help simplify the lives of salon owners and stylists.

Skills/Requirements:
Driven, proactive and hungry to close sales.
Resilient, self starter with ability to handle customer rejection
Outstanding focus on customer service with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A strong interest in digital products
Desire to be part of a small team (10 people) working towards something big
Clean driving licence and access to own car
