At Gatik we’re developing Level 4 automated light trucks and vans for business to business (B2B) short-haul logistics. Our autonomous vehicles reduce the high cost of urban logistics, while improving safety, increasing efficiency, reducing congestion and emissions, and allowing businesses to best serve the community.

Led by a team of AV researchers and engineers from Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute, we are building new concepts and groundbreaking solutions for autonomous vehicles to ensure goods are transported between business locations both efficiently and affordably in city environments. With offices in Palo Alto and Toronto, we are dedicated to building commercial applications of AVs and aim to power the next generation of self-driving commercial fleets for urban logistics.

We're looking for high-energy, creative and collaborative candidates that would like to be involved in all aspects of growing a fast-paced, execution-oriented team. Our finance team is lean, and you will be expected to wear a number of hats along the way and get up-to speed quickly! If you’re curious and passionate about Level 4 autonomous driving, we'd like to meet you!

Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes
- Partner with leaders across the business to drive financial, strategic, and operational planning
- Deal modeling and analysis, including consideration of strategic alternatives, contract review and revision of key financial terms
- Assist with decision-making that aligns capital and resource allocation with the company’s objectives

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in finance or Business Analysis
- Proven track record of leading and managing a performance driven finance teams
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong financial modeling background
- Experience with startup / hyper-growth operations
- Experience building and managing relationships across all levels of an organization
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Bonus Points
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive Insights, Vena, etc.)
- Experience using Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools
- CPA, CA or other professional accounting accreditation
- Experience working with AP systems in SAP or equivalent
