About the role

As the Social Media and Events Marketing Intern you will join the marketing team with the main responsibility of managing social media and assisting in planning events for our new global event series.

The ideal candidate would be able to work full-time over the summer and then transition into part-time (15-20 hours/week) when classes begin again in the fall. Being able to start, at least part-time for training, in May would be ideal.

Since GAN has a small (but mighty) marketing team, you will be exposed to all facets of B2B marketing. From SEO, demand generation, content, influencer marketing, and product marketing this exposure will be invaluable moving forward in your career. You will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager based in our New York City office, but will work closely with our teams in both New York and Copenhagen, Denmark.



What you’ll do:

Own organic and paid social channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter

Manage social accounts will include overseeing the social calendar, writing social copy, ensuring all comments/tweets are responded to, and engaging with industry influencers

Experiment with A/B testing on paid social accounts

Report on and track social media performance

Assist in executing global event series such as finding venues, sending invites, building registration pages, and booking speakers

Stay on top of the latest developments in anti-corruption and compliance by researching relevant news



We are looking for someone who:

Currently enrolled in a B.A. or B.S. program with a major in Marketing or Business

Previous B2B marketing, social media management, and/or event management experience beneficial but not required

Interest in geopolitics, ethics, business and technology

Talented communicator with superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Fluent english speaker (other languages a bonus)

Proactive self-starter with tons of energy and creativity

Excellent team player
