As a UX Writer, you are critical to creating a product that shows we care. You craft copy and content that speaks to user pain points and empowers the user to take action. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments that blend cross-functional perspectives into a powerhouse product that is solving one of the largest social issues in the US. You are detail-oriented, but do not let the details get in the way of supporting others.

We are seeking a self-starter with a heavy bias for action, comfortable working directly with customers and users. You possess exceptional writing and critical thinking skills. You are capable of leveraging research and data to form hypotheses to craft simple, engaging, and guiding copy all while developing the brand voice. You are creative and are constantly seeking to find ways to simplify complexity through the blended art of storytelling and technical writing.

What You'll Do
Work with our UX Researcher, Interaction Designer and Product Manager to understand user pain points and relieve them through the power of clear and engaging copy.
Develop user narratives in collaboration with the Product Team.
Establish product feature positioning and naming.
Create taxonomy and term systems that are optimized for SEO/ASO.
Write the right words from error messages and buttons to value props and help articles.
Be a brand advocate and ensure cohesion between all copy libraries and content strategies.
Drive voice and tone alignment across all of our products.
Deliver detailed specs to the engineering team
Maintain a content calendar to release new blog posts and coordinate thought leadership/articles that can be user-facing, customer-facing, or both.

What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience as a professional writer.
1+ years experience as a UX Writer or similar role.
A strong portfolio of relevant work.
Ability to make the complex simple.
Passion for crafting positioning and shaping products.
Understand how to combine UX writing with brand voice in perfect balance.
Knowledge of how to synthesize and use data and research.
Seamlessly embrace style guides and brand strategy.
Ability to work autonomously and communicate across multiple teams.
