Fullstack Academy is the premier software development school located in New York City and Chicago. Y Combinator-backed, our school has garnered the attention of Forbes, TechCrunch, and Business Insider, among others. The reputation of our school is built on the professional success of each and every one of our students. Students have gone on to promising careers at top-tier companies, like Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs. In January 2016, we launched the Grace Hopper Program, which is a need-blind software engineering program for women.

In late 2018, New York City selected Fullstack to build a world-class cybersecurity bootcamp, as part of its $100M Cyber NYC initiative. The Fullstack Cyber Bootcamp opened its doors in June 2019 and the curriculum includes advanced red team and blue team training. You can read more about the cyber bootcamp on our website at cyber.fullstackacademy.com and in some of the news coverage it has received.

You’ll work with a passionate team of instructors and teaching assistants to train a class of highly-motivated students in an immersive, bootcamp environment. You’ll facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community, guiding students through development of stellar projects and PoC's, getting students ready to step immediately into infosec jobs in companies and government service after graduating.

Create a positive, professional and inclusive learning environment and culture for our students
Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community, guiding students through development of stellar projects and Proof of Concepts
Help iterate on our curriculum over time based on student achievement data, feedback from students and employer partners, and evolving trends in the industry
Keep up to date on relevant trends in the cyber security field, including (for example) attending conferences like DEFCON (to network with other people in the infosec community), building your skills, and participating in CTF challenges

You are a great candidate if you have:

2+ years of cybersecurity work experience
OSCP certification
A passion for the cyber security industry, and for helping others
Exceptional and engaging presentation skills - particularly when it comes to complex technical information
A desire to work in a fast-moving, high-profile startup environment with a high degree of ownership and independence
A passion for the cyber security industry and a desire to be part of growing the careers of a diverse new generation of cyber security professionals
