Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Business development director and with the support of other shared services, the BD professional is responsible to create long-term value for an organization from customers, markets, and relationships, delivering on key priorities within FuelADream. A good BD is a strategic thinker, someone that's well-versed with the marketplace, precise in their execution, driven by data and gifted in building and maintaining relationships.
Role: Business development & other areas:
The key objective is to manage & be responsible for business development & alliance activities for Fueladream in your assigned market, region & segments. The purpose of this role is activating & signing up clients for Fueladream. While we sign them up we need to also do the necessary due diligence to make sure that they are genuine & high impact projects that are making a difference or will make a difference. There is also a significant amount of training that is required to be imparted to our clients.
This will involve evolving & developing selling-in, educational & retention tools & strategies for clients & key accounts by channel - Idea channel, NGO channel, Brand/Corporate channel. The role also envisages partnering & building alliances with key corporates & organizations in the social, technology & related sectors. These alliances are & could be with Media companies, regulatory organizations, Global /MNC clients that directly & indirectly support & impact our revenue growth, client acquisition velocity or brand image. Revenue opportunities through both online & offline initiatives will be a KRA.
Role and responsibilities:
• Map the market for Ideas, charities, causes, etc to identify potential clients.
• Meet & educate potential campaign owners (clients) on Fueladream & crowdfunding
• Managing diverse campaigns and campaign owner relationships.
• Ability to learn and research varied campaigns that can be crowdfunded (feasibility)
• Good at planning & achieving stretch targets in terms of business goals
• Ability to understand the client profile & their abilities.
• Persuasiveness to get all the required information from campaign owners.
• Assertiveness to communicate the do ‘s and don’ts of a campaign.
• Work within time constraints and deliver within timelines
• Good at pitching Fueladream & the work we do to the clients.
• Be a consultant to the client with regards to the campaign at every step of the way.
