A Little About You
You’re a resourceful self-starter with a strong sense of initiative, you’re attentive to details and well organized. You have an operational mindset and enjoy creating and improving processes and solving problems. You’re good with numbers and using data to answer questions and help solve problems. Ideally, you are familiar with general accounting principles and have experience managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and other common financial processes. You’re a team player, an effective communicator and a generally affable person.

Your Responsibilities
• You will support our day-to-day financial management by taking
ownership of accounts receivable, accounts payable and other key
finance processes that keep the business running. Among these
responsibilities, you will:
o Create and maintain organized, accurate and up-to-date
records to ensure invoices are processed on a timely basis and
according to our customers’ requirements.
o Generate accounts receivable aging reports and communicate
professionally with our customers to resolve past due
o Create vendor accounts, process vendor invoices and
communicate professionally with vendors when answering
questions or providing billing instructions.
o Ensure transactions are properly recorded in our accounting
system, investigate and resolve discrepancies and assist with
bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end close
• You will help to improve existing operations, establish new processes
and procedures and implement new tools to make us more efficient and
productive as a team.
• You will support our efforts to introduce analytical rigor across the
business, such as helping to implement measurement and reporting of
key business activities and initiatives.
• You will have an opportunity to assist with, and take ownership of, ad
hoc analyses and projects that touch all aspects of our business.

Experience and Skills You Need to Succeed
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience using common financial management tools including
Quickbooks, Bill.com and Expensify strongly preferred
• Strong track record of independently researching and resolving issues
• Excellent follow-up skills are essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience implementing new business tools or processes is a plus
