We started Flowcast with the mission to help the underserved market gain access to capital. We have a thesis that AI & ML can harness the trove of data trapped in databases of traders, banks, logistics companies and others that will - in combination with alternative data sources - be algorithmically predictive in guiding risk management to unlock SME finance.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an early stage fintech with a dynamic team expanding in Singapore to serve its rapidly growing client base in Asia Pacific. You will be building the future of trade finance and SME lending using cutting-edge AI/ML techniques. We seek an ambitious and self-motivated individual to join our team, reporting directly to our APAC General Manager.

The TSS/TSE is an exciting new role, created as part of Flowcast’s investment in Singapore, to help our customers leverage AI and ML to bring substantial value to their organizations. The TSS/TSE brings strong technical acumen and client management skills to deliver an outstanding support experience to our top enterprise accounts in Singapore and across Asia Pacific.

The role involves you bringing a fresh perspective. Listening, learning and teaching. Solving and preventing problems. Ultimately, you will be instrumental in delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction for our customers.

You will work firsthand with our enterprise customers to address their complex post-sales concerns, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of many factors. You’re a critical thinker in understanding the methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. You’ll enjoy networking with key contacts outside your own area of expertise, with a strong capability of detailing difficult technical issues to both non-technical and technical professionals.

This is a hybrid role that is suitable for a professional with both coding/programming and customer service experience.

This role is based in our Singapore office and is a key member of the Flowcast APAC support team.

As a TSS/TSE, you will be accountable for:
- Monitoring all support channels and responding to customers
- Taking telephone calls and walking customers through problems
- Working with other members of the team on problem resolution
- Fixing any tier 1 software issues that may arise, or passing major issues to the development teams
- Working with the development teams to ensure that high priority tasks are taken care of
- Provide Technical Support to customers and partners
- Provide configurations, troubleshooting and best practices to customers
- Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are done in a timely manner
- Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues.
- Publish Technical Support Bulletins and other technical documentation in the Knowledge Base.
- Travel may be required to customer sites in the event of a critical situation to expedite resolution.
- Provide on-call support on an as-needed basis.
- Demonstrated passion for interacting with customers and helping them succeed
- Demonstrated success in a SaaS company with enterprise customers
- Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems and proven ability to do so with little or no direct daily supervision
- Strong interest in technology and continuous learning
- Able to work autonomously and resourcefully in a fast-paced startup environment

You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in an evolving technical customer service role
- Experience with Python and Docker
- IT/Systems Administration background
- Domain knowledge in fintech (B2B financing), lendtech, and/or transaction banking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
