Senior Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a senior back-end engineer experienced with NodeJS and Javascript development excited to work on a new PaaS. The ideal candidate will have experience building back-end technologies for a cloud platform developing cloud-based applications and is passionate about writing clean, robust and scalable code. This is an excellent opportunity to take an existing platform to the next level as we scale operations to new customers.



Must have:

· Minimum 2-3 years of experience with NodeJS/ExpressJS Development
· Excellent understanding of Cloud-based Architecture
· Excellent understanding of how to scale back-end architecture

· Good understanding of Git and version control
· Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
· Good understanding of Agile methodologies

Must have experience with the following technologies:



· Node.js & Express.js

· Amazon Web Services

· SQL

· Proficient with UNIX/LINUX

· Mocha or equivalent testing frameworks

Useful to have:

· Docker
· AngularJS/ReactJS
· Contributions to opensource technologies / portfolio of projects on github
· Continuous Integration/Deployment
