Job Details:

We are looking for a Head of Finance to supervise & manage all financial tasks of our organization and ensure we use capital and resources beneficially. The responsibilities include creating forecasting models, assessing risk in investments and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. To be successful in this role, you should have experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams.

Ultimately, you will maintain our company’s financial health/fitness and increase profitability in the long run.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Leading the finance team and overseeing their operations, setting goals and objectives and designing a framework for key metrics to be met.
• Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts and financial statements
• Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with company's strategic planning process
• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
• Recommending long-term business plans with cost efficient solutions
• Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance and ROI
• Managing budgets, controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
• Developing and managing financial systems/models
• Carrying out business modeling and risk assessments

Experience and skill-sets we are looking for:

• 11 – 15 years of work experience with a 5+ years in business finance. Experience in a premium consumer (FMCG/Retail & Hospitality) domain is an advantage, not mandatory.
• Professional qualification of Chartered Accountant OR a MBA in Finance is preferred
• Should have led a team for a minimum period of 5 years.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and financial modeling is a must
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models (FP&A)
• Knowledge of financial accounting software/s, tool and systems to enhance efficiency of finance processes.
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation regulations (Direct & Indirect Taxes, GST, TDS, RBI, FEMA, IGAAP/IFRS etc) and auditing.
• Experience in fundraising is an advantage & maintaining working relationship with Banks.
• Mentor and coach the team to help them achieve goals, develop their skills and grow.
