The Fathom One is an affordable, easy-to-use, underwater drone. The Fathom One allows anyone who knows how to use a smartphone to be able to dive underwater while staying dry. The key features of the Fathom One are the adaptability, portability, ease of use, and affordability of the unit.

At the heart of the Fathom One lies its modular thruster attachment system. All three of the Fathom One's thrusters clip on and off, allowing users to easily customize, upgrade, or pack the device. This feature of the Fathom One currently has a provisional patent.

As for portability, the Fathom One is about the size of a shoebox, allowing it to easily fit into a backpack or tote bag.

The Fathom One is also easy to use and only requires a user to able to control their smartphone or tablet to pilot the drone. Furthermore, the Fathom One is ready out of the box, no technical knowledge needed to start.

Lastly, the Fathom One had to be priced affordably. The Fathom One will retail for $599.
