Internship Business Development at Farm Brothers organic cookies!

Farm Brothers is a fast growing organic cookie company that is looking for motivated and enthusiastic reinforcements! We are expanding to share our organic cookies to a growing group of consumers in Europe through Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Marqt, Delhaize Belgiumand Carrefour Dubai, to name a few. To help us grow our business we are looking for several interns in the field of sales and the art of trade marketing.

In 2019 Farm Brothers doubled in turnover, we noted as one of the most inspiring brands in the Netherlands by Synergie and we did win several taste awards in among others the Netherlands and France. The best is our mission “Eat Cookies, Change the Earth!”, where we want to inform millions of consumers about the importance of healthy soils and how quickly we are at the moment degrading soils globally, with 50% of fertile soil already gone! Therefore, Farm Brothers saves per sold pack of cookies 12cm2 (almost the size of a cookie) and donates this to organic farmers who will turn it again into healthy and organic soil forever!

If you are an energetic and ambitious student with an interest in (organic) food we might be a match! Have you finished or are finishing your commercial HBO or University degree and are you available for minimum 5 months (starting January/February 2020)? If so, selling and marketing our delicious organic cookies might be your next career move.

The internship will involve building our organic cookie brand by setting up your own projects under supervision that will focus on sales and trade marketing. A number of projects have already been set up, for example:

- Trying to get Farm Brothers started in 1 NEW country in Europe
- Improve the current ‘toolbox’ and presentations used to create new leads and customers
- Help taking the big next steps in France, Belgium and Germany we Farm Brothers is just getting started
- Researching the out of home (Horeca, Petrol, etc.) market in the Netherlands and then decide for the right strategy

What we offer:
· Remuneration of 300Euro per month, based on 40 hours / week

What we are looking for:
· Minimum HBO/University thinking
· Available per January/February 2020 full-time for 5 months minimum
· A plus if you are already trained in sales
· Fluent in English. Dutch is very helpful since we are Dutch. French or German are a plus
· You are creative, communicative and strong with data
· You can bring projects from starting-phase to execution
