The role of Brand Development Rep is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about “what’s new” and what’s cool” and is ready to leverage his/her deep industry expertise. We are looking for someone who is passionate about eCommerce and wants to be part of an enthusiastic, dynamic, and innovative team.

You will be responsible for researching, identifying, vetting and reaching out to new brands and merchants to join our platform.

- Assist with growing our assortment of awesome products and brands that meet company’s selection criteria including revenue expectations, margin requirements, brand fit and fulfillment methods.
- Researching the industry in order to identify and vet new potential products/ brands / merchants to become part of our exciting community.
- Support product sourcing process by shopping competition, understanding industry trends, reviewing customer requests and vendor new product recommendations
- Reach out to potential brands to establish new relationships with the key decision makers.
- Account management of existing brands in order to maintain a strong relationship with our sellers.

- Passion for eCommerce: You are a motivated, organized, passionate individual with their finger on the pulse of today’s most interesting and innovative brands in the realms of fashion, luxury items, tech, gadgets, and more.
- Attention to detail: You have an impeccable eye for detail
- Strong communicator and collaborator: You work and communicate effectively with all members of the organization, from individual contributors to top executives.
- Results-oriented: You have a bias for action. When problems arise, you reliably produce responses and thoughtful solutions.
- Optimistic: You see the opportunity in a challenge and always seek to keep the teams in good working flow.

- 3+ Years’ Experience in sales and/or retail buying.
- 2+ Years in a client facing role where you were responsible for maintaining client relationships.
- eCommerce sales and cold calling experience preferred
- Deep passion for and understanding of consumer product distribution as well as an intimate familiarity with smaller independent, up-and-coming brands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Up to date on current trends, and able to spot new ones
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar.
