About eZhire

eZhire is an on-demand car rental app and we are changing the way people get their car rentals. With a tap on the mobile app, the car rental gets delivered right to the center.

eZhire offers an efficient, convenient and elegant way to rent a car. Evolving and eradicating the hassles of conventional car renting.

Saving people, the time and hassle, giving them the freedom to go wherever they want, when they want whilst making places more accessible and opening up more possibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

A self-starter: We want to work with people who enjoy building things from the bottom up. Stuff changes fast in our world so you’ll need to be highly adaptable as well as calm under pressure.

A great advocate: We’re looking to create new regulatory frameworks that encourage innovation and alternatives to individual car ownership /booking sites and cabs. You’ll need the intellectual firepower to grasp complex policy issues as well as the ability to articulate clearly and simply how eZhire is better alternative and can help improve transportation for everyone— both orally and in writing.

A strong campaigner: Smartphone apps are disruptive, and the interests being disrupted are deeply entrenched. So, you’ll need to put together proactive campaigns involving passengers, drivers and third parties that demonstrate there’s a better alternative to today’s outdated status quo. That means having a bias for action in everything you do—and a willingness to engage in debates, that can often become heated.

A team player: Success at eZhire depends on the ability to organize different teams (internally and externally) around shared goals. It’s why we’re looking for well-organized people who enjoy working with others to get stuff done—and who can deal with the ambiguity that sometimes comes from working cross-functionally.

A global citizen: Proactive in understanding key technological developments in the marketing function and differences in the regional nuance with an ability to quickly identify issues and provide solutions.

You should have number of years’ experience in delivering highly successful go-to-market, demand generation and growth strategies with your fingerprints all over them - you're extremely proud of what you've accomplished

A Leader: You will be guiding the Marketing team in the right direction while educating them on the latest developments, strategies, and goals. Represent eZhire on marketing platforms and be at the forefront of bringing in new and creative ideas.

Comfort with data: You go get the data you need with no muss/fuss and can turn it into an insightful story. You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive growth

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deploy marketing strategies and a go-to-market process (and calendar) enabling best in class work (strategic, creative, quality, relevant, timely, efficient and impactful).

• Ensure the targets set by eZhire for downloads, user acquiring and cars rented outs are achieved.

• Define and implement a framework to identify and prioritize strategies and campaigns for eZhire

• Be a key marketing leader and devise near and long-term strategies to grow eZhire

• Drive actionable insights to inform product and marketing strategy (e.g. user and competitive research)

• Co-develop high impact local campaigns through innovative channels

• Educate local teams on marketing strategy, campaign briefs, and report

• Work on the brand fundamentals and ensure that all business efforts are aligned to them

• Work with operations and sales teams to ensure the customer journey is cohesive at all points

• Develop, launch and track multi-market integrated campaigns across digital, offline including above the line and below the line channels

• Work with in-house media teams and agencies to find, buy and optimize media channel mix

• Work with in-house design teams and agencies to develop communication materials for different targets and stakeholders

• Measure the impact of brand campaigns to substantiate future investments in our brand

• Pursue a deep consumer and clients understanding working together with the Marketing Research team in the search for relevant business insights

• Ask the right questions and build a hypothesis for brand growth opportunities and work with the Marketing Research team to validate them

• Develop cross-platform digital communications marketing strategies that engage users

• Growth process: Will be expected to submit new growth ideas weekly to the team and have the ability to test these ideas and be autonomous

Your performance will be measured by the growth you bring to the company in the form of new users, converted leads and cars rented. Improvement and the ability to take charge and own the role as well as its responsibilities.

Requirements of the role:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing.
  • Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing SEM, SEO, Email marketing, social media, blogging, and Affiliate programs.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
  • Previous experience in a similar marketing role at a Managerial position preferably in a startup
  • Strong experience in both online/digital and offline marketing
