Are you a Marketing and Business Development Specialist who has the energy and intensity to match a fast growing startup that has a revolutionary new way of teaching math, led by a world-famous educator? You would play a key role in the marketing, business development, and sales support of our educational courses within the advanced math community. This role will focus on the cross-cultural Chinese-American market (with occasional overlap to the Chinese market, and potential penetration to Chinese families all over the world), and values language and cultural fluency.

Daily Challenge with Po-Shen Loh is a series of online courses created for high-achieving middle school students who seek additional challenges outside of the classroom. The product is positioned as the premier online math course in North America for this market. Hundreds of students have purchased our new courses and raved about our deep and original mathematical content, and our non-traditional teaching style. Daily Challenge with Po-Shen Loh is part of Expii.com, a free platform that gives students the power to choose how they learn. Founded and lead by Po-Shen Loh (inventor of a method of solving quadratic equations, which made the "10 Biggest Math Breakthroughs of 2019" in Popular Mechanics; award-winning Carnegie Mellon math professor; national coach of the four time #1 ranking USA International Math Olympiad team), both programs embody Loh’s unprecedented approach to education.

Identify the most efficiently-reachable high-potential markets and target audiences
Help with the development, growth, planning, and be a boots-on-the-ground connection with students, parents, and potential partners within the Chinese community in North America
Develop your own network, attend events as a company representative,
Understand common digital and traditional marketing tools with the highest impact
Participate in creating content strategies for social media platforms, and collaborate with editing, multimedia, and art design staff to implement those strategies
Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand
Assist in optimizing analytics tools to more accurately profile and satisfy user intent and needs
Gather feedback and KPI's from customers, key opinion leaders, influencers, and marketing campaigns
Manage communications with business partners including evaluation/negotiation of contracts
Assist with sales support

A love of math
Fluent in Chinese (written and verbal communication)
Experience operating social media accounts such as WeChat, and growing audiences
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Media, Education, or other closely related field
Deep understanding of parents’ psychology and behavior
Superior business writing and interpersonal communication skills
Data analysis skills, including the ability to use appropriate tools and deductive reasoning
Flexible schedule, with some nights, weekends, and travel preferred
Authorization to legally work in the United States

Experience in education industry
Grit, positive attitude, strong self-motivation, and great inspiration for a startup environment
Creativity and intellectual curiosity
