We make working with web applications and enterprise solutions a cakewalk.Job descriptionAs an MDM Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining data warehouse solutions that deliver diverse reporting and analytic capabilities to our clients and their organization. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of data warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures, has technical hands on experience supporting data warehouse solutions, has strong communication skills and the ability to provide support to customers and collaborate internally on projects as a contributor/specialist.This candidate should also be able to find creative solutions to complex and diverse business requirements. This individual works with data integration programmers, data architects, and business stakeholders to ensure enterprise DW solutions are reliable, scalable, flexible and low maintenance.Responsible for defining data quality rules such as completeness, standardization, validation, integrity, uniqueness, and reference data rules.PositionAssists in the development and maintenance of complex data storage structures needed to support data warehouse functions. Assures data is maintained in consistent formats.Troubleshoots data warehouse issues, tracing ETL packages back to source systems. Works cross functionally with Data Warehouse Developer to overcome complex issues.Provides initial business analysis for Data Warehouse requests, working with end users to understand and document business requirements.Analyzes user data to determine business rules and creates suggested data organization requirements for approval. Become the subject matter expert on data within the Data WarehouseLeads project management affecting the data warehouse while working with cross functional teamsTracks the life cycle of Data Warehouse activities from development/testing to production and keeps stakeholders apprisedPerforms testing on changes to the data warehouse ensuring new development matches the business need. Performs regression testing to ensure no changes adversely impact the Data WarehouseMaintains relationships with users to identify and develop additional data sources for the data warehouse consistent with business rules and customer needsWorks with business users to define requirements for outbound data feeds and works with Data Warehouse developer to implement solution which could include flat files or staging tables in the Data WarehouseTrains and assists users, managers and technical staff regarding access, use and storage of data in the Data WarehouseDevelops various methods of communicating with Data Warehouse users regarding changes in source applications and source databases that supply information to the data warehouseRecommends strategies and updates to the data warehouse systems in response to changes requirements.Education and Experience3+ Years' experience with Data Management in an analyst roleTechnical Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent plus 3 or more years technical experienceExcellent communication skills and ability to write clear technical requirements for EDW & MDM initiatives.Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data comprehensively using SQL, Excel, and other toolsExtensive data modeling & data architecture exposureStrong SQL skills: querying using advanced functions like windowing; optimizing queries to run efficiently; debugging queries to find logical errors.Basic understanding of data schema, dimensional data warehousingCore Values - At the Heart of ExcersLasting RelationshipsWe are absolutely dedicated to building outstanding relationships - both within our team, and with our clients.
