A taste of what you’ll do:

This role will support our President and Co Founder Jay Lipman in his capacity as a key member of the business development team and evangelist of Ethic.

In particular you will:

Coordinate and attend meetings, in-person or on the phone, with current and prospective clients
Maintain CRM for Ethic’s clients and prospects, capturing diligent and actionable notes
Ownership of timely and accurate client follow-up communication and materials
Respond to inbound sales inquiries, literature requests and client requests
Manage, and be the gatekeeper of, Jay’s calendar to ensure the best use of his time; plan out a daily, weekly and long-term schedule using your in depth knowledge of our business goals and relationships
Coordinate and book travel for key members of the executive team, as it relates to business development
Prepare your Business Development teammates for meeting; coordinate internal, cross-functional teams
Collaborate cross-functionally on special projects; help plan client dinners and events, help prepare for speaking engagements, etc.
Learn and absorb everything Jay has to offer when it comes to leading and growing a business!

What you’ll bring to the table:

1-2 years in a business development support role, focused on wealth & asset management - internships may apply
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, in-person and over the phone
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize
A demonstrated ability to manage upward and work closely with executives
A demonstrated interest in the wealth management industry
A demonstrated passion for sustainability issues
A demonstrated ability to build relationships and garner trust with clients and executives
Eagerness to develop skills in sales, financial solutions, and ESG
