Quality Assurance Engineer

Purpose:

Work with the Development team helping to establish a quality controls and processes for the Etherparty product line. The role will require initiative and experience to assist the company as it grows from building prototypes to a sustainable high quality product line.

You will:

Work with the Product team to review requirements, specifications for feature development

Work with the Development team on technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback with any required integration tests

Create appropriate test plans and test cases for an Agile development environment

Estimate, prioritize, plan and execute testing activities

Design, develop and execute web automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver

Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs (Jira)

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

Monitor debugging process results

Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Develop and maintain an automated suite of API tests

You have:

Proven work experience in software development

Proven work experience in software quality assurance

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

Experience testing web applications

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Bonus Experience:
An understanding of blockchain technology
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Experience with performance and/or security testing
