We are on the look-out for an International Business Development Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset and passionate about joining a dynamic team to drive business growth in emerging technologies, including but not limited to Internet of Things (IoT), big data and later ML/AI. This is a unique opportunity to play a key Business Development role with a growing company.

• Develop individual business plans for each target country
• Develop, manage and implement initiatives to increase sales and market development activities
• Analyse business strategies and develop improvement plans to provide appropriate growth to business
• Manage all development process and ensure compliance to government policies and regulations
• Assist businesses to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans for future revenue streams
• Design plans to achieve all objectives and develop plans for new business
• Coordinate with management team and maintain budgets
• Analyse business, review future prospective and sales pipeline
• Manage all customer communication and maintain effective relationship with all new and existing customers
• Prepare pricing strategies according to customer budgets and procurement methods
• Evaluate market trends, review competitor plans and effect of products and services and provide appropriate support to product development
• Design and develop solution proposals, including developing standardised proposals aimed at reducing delivery times
• Effective closer and display the ability to handle objections and problem solving
• Work closely with product and operations team to ensure customer success in delivery
• Cooperate with our strategic partners on co-sell and go to market activities

Ideal Profile:
• Bachelor or master’s degree in business / marketing / international business
• Preferable with 2-3 years’ experience in business development
• Passion for technology and the startup ecosystem
• Understanding of emerging technologies comprising IoT, Data Analytics & AI
• Self-reliant, adaptable, professional and results oriented
• Very well organised, disciplined and technical proficiency
• Innovative thinker and problem solver with a solution mindset
• Outstanding team player and able to take the lead
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude, with determination to succeed
• Display a hunter or growth hacker mentality
• Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to speak a Chinese language would be highly-desirable
