About the role:
In the role of Associate Brand Director, you will be responsible for selling strategic, customized marketing programs to retail technology companies, agencies, and solution providers who serve the Consumer Goods industry. Assets in portfolio include a mixture of print & digital marketing products, event sponsorships, custom media, and some research.

Key responsibilities:
· Leverage your sales background to connect with the key stakeholders CMOs, Marketing Managers, Agencies to offer them products that meet their needs
· Create annual and monthly projections
· Make personal sales calls at clients’ and prospects’ offices
· Travel to industry and corporate trade shows to meet with clients and prospects
· Create annual proposals for clients and prospects
· Call clients and prospects to close business daily
· Meet or exceed budget
· Being a company ambassador at all relevant industry events
· In-person integrated media sales calls with other team members
· Visits with retailers and manufacturers to understand community needs
· Support team (Brand Director, Editorial Team, Leadership Team) as needed to provide voice of customer feedback and insights
· Represent membership opportunities among client base and bring in subject matter experts as needed

About you:
7+ years of relevant sales experience. Consumer Goods (CPG) and Shopper Marketing knowledge is strongly preferred but would consider candidates from other verticals with strong proven sales skillset
Exceptional track record for exceeding sales targets and managing complex and demanding client relationships
A demonstrable track record for strategic, consultative selling with cross-platform experience
Sales management experience in managing pipelines, building prospects, and motivating cross functional team members highly desired
Comfortable with using on-line CRM program. Launchpad experience a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree required
Can travel at least 30% of the time
