Our mission is to help millions of people who struggle with sensitive skin by offering them clean skincare focused on respecting the microbiome, the living microorganisms on your skin. We pride ourselves on staying transparent in our processes, always prioritizing environmentally friendly solutions and being obsessed with our customers.

We have successfully launched our first hero product, the “Let’s Start Over” super moisturizing serum, and are now actively working on growing our skincare line.

THE ROLE

The role will report directly to the CEO and lead the launch of our new brand through e-commerce channels. The role requires a unique combination of business & distribution strategy and performance marketing to launch and grow quickly. You will:

- Define & execute our go-to-market plan, including audience segmentation, channel identification and distribution.
- Identify and execute/manage the acquisition channels for ELSI.
- Develop and implement an integrated strategic marketing plan to advance ELSI’s brand identity, expand awareness and increase the visibility of the brand.
- Increase ELSI website traffic while reaching sales growth objectives.
- Create a differentiated online positioning for ELSI compared to existing brands.
- Implement fundamental growth while determining strategic distribution channels.
- Build and supervise growth-hacking tactics to reach our target consumers at a lower cost.
- Support the development of a data-collection platform via different channels to gain insights for future business development.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a digital organization.
- Must have worked for an early stage DTC company or brand & have a hands-on experience in creating digital and offline campaigns.
- Has participated in building and scaling a differentiated online brand

WHO YOU ARE:

- Have recent experience with rapidly growing US online brand with a community of engaged users.
- Have the ability to balance a highly analytical, metrics-focused approach with the strong creative mind needed to develop breakthrough campaigns.
- Be familiar with the new generation of consumer goods brands in the U.S. market (fashion, beauty, food, etc.).
- Have a passion for hands on testing: bias to action, think out of the box, tracking results
- Data-driven mindset, must be the voice that gently says: “Let’s look at the data...”
- Have Rockstar English communication skills, written and verbal.
- Must be excited in creating a disruptive brand in beauty.

LOCATION: The position is based in San Francisco. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
