Conceptualize, ideate and develop prototypes for new features. This again requires talking to the various stakeholders

Build information systems - The performance of the product must be understandable by numbers. This requires translating complex operations into numbers.
Being abreast with current technologies - You need to understand and be familiar with current open and commercial APIs and services that will add tremendous value to the current product
Ability to communicate with developers - You should be able to guide developers while discussing technology-related issues. Strong communication skills will be required.
Ability to create low fidelity prototypes - You should be able to convey your ideas and product-flow concepts by creating prototypes using common design or illustration tools
Balancing business requirements and product-features - Delivering the product at the right time and with the right features is key.
