Role Overview:

As a Sr. Manager – Academics, you will be part of the organization responsible for creation, curation, review and validation of content and tailored as per the needs. On top of this, there will be a multitude of challenges in operations ranging from process planning, designing systems, and implementing solutions that result in a delightful learning experience for students

Responsibilities:

• Act as the custodian of the entire content assets/repository of the organization. Managing the content repository in the most organized manner, and Keeping a stock of all content within the repository.
• Accountable for delivering high-quality content and maintaining consistent quality in all deliverables; sourced from the third party or developed in-house
• Planning, scheduling & execution of creation, acquisition, curation and uploading of all types of content including videos.
• Reviewing submissions from the content experts, Providing them with insights and feedback on regular basis.
• Define & maintain best processes and tools for content uploading;
• Communication with relevant third parties for content delivery with proper tracking;
• Assigning work to third-party vendors, receiving work, maintain records of all work delivered, and organizing all content it in a structured manner
• Ensuring timely query resolution for all flags raised by the support team, within expected TAT
• Prompt response to issues in content, raising flags within a team and ensuring no impact on end users;
• Verifying the quality of the developed content and demarcate its acceptance/ rejection;
• Updating all requisite reports related to content received from content partners, work allocated & received from the content partners
• Reviewing Bills/ Invoices raised by content partners, against their deliverables and agreed timelines
• Responsible to maintaining well versified process/ activity guidelines in the system as per business requirements and make sure that everyone should be on the same page;
• Responsible to publish the qualified content to live website with minimal delay; Coordinating with the operations executive for delivering the test papers as per schedule
• Researching subject related content and present new ideas and share with a team;
• Conducting extensive research to remain up to date with recent methodologies;
• Act in the capacity of SME at times to ensure the sanctity of content;
• Analyze participant’s data and test hypotheses to provide actionable insights and meaningful information.
• Management of QC team, Assigning work, Keeping track of progress, ensuring quality deliverables from QC team within the set timelines and quality parameters
• Ensuring compliance with all guidelines, timelines, and defined parameters of content production, management, delivery, and servicing (query resolution)
• Doing and getting things done under strict deadlines.

Requirement:

• 6-8 years of experience in Content management/e-learning platform;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject (Master’s degree preferred); Preferably from Tier I college
• Prior experience of academic content QC (across different subjects). Will prefer a person with experience in managing a team of QC experts/ providing QC training in their current/ previous organizations.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Strong educational vision and passionate about the effect of curriculum design on the quality of education in the relevant subject; Some exposure to instructional designing is preferable.
• Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate to all parties involved, which may include external suppliers and internal colleagues;
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing;
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and quickly to tight deadlines.
• Good command of MS office; MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Powerpoint
