Dollaride is seeking a Growth Manager to drive user growth in key market segments by developing our user acquisition strategy and converting offline customers into mobile app users. In this role, you will be doing supply & demand-side marketing and executing various user acquisition strategies within our local marketplace (New York City).

You will be on the ground floor building the Dollaride platform business in NYC, including developing our growth and marketing operations from scratch. You’ll join a small, nimble team working directly with the founders, expert advisors, and earliest engineers in our startup company. You'll play a pivotal role in growing Dollaride by creating remarkable experiences for our users through partnerships as well as through 1-on-1 activations.

No egos. You must be prepared to do ANYTHING to get the job done - within ethical reason, of course. This philosophy includes doing things that don't scale, experimenting as well as failing fast and often. Moreover, you must be prepared to design, execute, and maintain the processes that define our ride-sharing service for customers.

The 3 pillars below reflect the domains that you'll own as a Growth Manager.

1. User Acquisition & UX
- Develop and continually optimize repeatable growth and marketing operations
- Execute user acquisition strategies, including unscalable tactics during our early days
- Help improve the product by incorporating user feedback and insights
- Represent the user's voice in our product and UX decisions

2. Growth Strategy & Data Analytics
- Design a growth strategy for our marketplace that's driven by metrics and KPIs
- Measure and track user engagement
- Make data-driven decisions and lead by example
- Continuously report on marketplace user activity and KPIs

3. Customer Experience
- Develop systems and processes that enable us to consistently deliver a great user experience
- Determine how to increase user retention and influence repeat product use
- Identify and execute tactics that delight our users
- Always be improving the customer's experience so that


Preferred experience
* Marketing or Growth in a marketplace business in previous roles
* 3+ years startup experience as a founder or in a BD role (i.e. sales, marketing, recruiting, partnerships)
* Initiated marketplace or user growth in previous roles
* Project management or community development
* Experience in grassroots marketing, offline and online B2C marketing campaigns
* Profesional experience at the intersection of people, data, and hustle

Required skillsets
* 4+ years business experience with a marketing or BD background
* Execution of go-to-market strategy
* Experience marketing digital consumer products (i.e. B2C) to an offline audience
* Tech-savvy (i.e. Google Docs, MS Office, especially Excel)
* Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Data-driven decision making
* Must be a self-starter and demonstrate perseverance in past experience

Nice-to-have experience
* Familiar with the application of digital growth strategies (i.e. referrals, SEO/SEM, social ads)
* Responsibility for driving growth against relevant KPIs and metrics
