Divided We Fall® is a non-profit news publication working to provide bipartisan dialogue for the politically engaged. We publish curated debates, interviews, and op-eds between individuals who disagree in order to demonstrate productive civil discourse and bipartisanship.
Now that Divided We Fall reaches over 100,000 readers per month, we are looking to grow our team! We are looking to recruit a young, scrappy, and hungry Chief Human Capital Officer / Director of Talent to help scale our volunteer team. Ideal candidates will have experience building teams, recruiting and evaluating top-talent, building partnerships, and operating in a startup environment. Past experience in and around politics/policy/government is a plus but not required.
In the first 6 months, the Chief Human Capital Officer / Director of Talent will be responsible for recruiting, evaluating, and selecting 10-20 volunteer positions for Divided We Fall, including our Managing Editor, Executive Producer, Director of Development, and Director of Communications. The Chief Human Capital Officer / Director of Talent will also be responsible for creating the hiring pipeline and process to facilitate future human capital needs. Successful candidates may be able to assist with other external engagement functions including authorship recruitment, partnership development, and fundraising.
