Events Internship

This is open to current students in new york. District CoWork is looking for an amazing intern to help with events! Class credits and sales commission are possible.

We are looking for a smart, responsible and well organized people who want to learn the ins and outs of event management, booking and sales. If you love socializing and meeting people this is the best internship for you!!!


Your Role ...

1. Event Prospecting: out reach to event and conference booking teams in the city to book the District event spaces. Scheduling and conducting tours, follow-up with interested parties. Identify leads on LinkedIn and other event tools.

2. Event Management: Ensuring all items are ready to go for the event. Attending the event and networking on site. Closing the event and doing follow-up to ensure repeat business.

3. Event Production: Creating events that will drum up interest for District. Finding speakers, marketing the events and organizing the day of logistics.

3. Digital Media and website: Become an expert at using content to drive engagement and event business though social media, newsletters and customer communication. Learn communication and promotion though our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages

We can pay commissions on event booking and also school credit. In addition, this is what we can offer you:
