Online shoppers expect their orders will be delivered in 1-2 days at no extra cost. As a result, millions of non-Amazon marketplace sellers (and marketplaces themselves!) are falling behind because they can’t affordably meet online shoppers expectations. Deliverr's mission is to enable any seller, regardless of size, to delight their customers with fast and cost-effective fulfillment.
To do that, Deliverr is looking for an owner and operator of digital design. As an owner, you advocate and argue passionately on behalf of users. Next level digital design isn’t just important to you, it’s worth moving mountains for.
As an operator, you love and trust in the process of building and improving digital design with engineers, product owners, and designers. It doesn’t matter who came up with an idea or the difficulty of the path, but that the user benefits. You believe that the best things in design (and life!) don’t come easy.
What will you do:
Own the look, feel, and user experience of our user-facing application
Create and implement user flows, and user interface specifications in collaboration with product management and engineering teams
Conduct usability tests to validate design ideas
Document insights and interaction models based on user feedback
Create and maintain a design system for our product(s)
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of experience with end-to-end UI and UX design
Experience with a UX design process
Rock star skills with design tools: Sketch, Zeplin, etc.
Experience maintaining and enhancing design for web applications
Created and maintained design systems
Experience conducting user research and user interviews
Have cross-platform design experiences (Web, Android, iOS, email)
Technically fluent, comfortable working closely with engineering
Experience with digital analytics platforms, such as FullStory, Mixpanel, etc.
Bonus points for knowing CSS
