DevOps Engineer (MLOps) (SRE)

We are looking for engineers who will take an active role in establishing data infrastructure, flexible clustering, partner integrations, resilient task queues, scalable APIs, et al. A successful candidate will have ingenuity, creativity, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement and maintain end-to-end infrastructure solutions
• Ensure accessibility, security, reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure
• Work closely with the Data Science and Software Engineering teams, sometimes acting as a bridge between the two
• Support, maintain and troubleshoot production issues and alerts and participate in 24/7 on-call production support rotations

What we are looking for:

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP preferred, Azure)
• Identity management (user, role, permissions)
• Cross-account management
• Serverless Frameworks (GCP Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda, Azure Function Apps)
• Managed container clusters: AWS ECS, EKS, Fargate, Azure AKS, Google GKE
• Infrastructure as code: GCP Deployment Manager, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Management (ARM)
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) pipelines to ensure high quality through automated tests and fast development iterations
• Containers technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.
• Strong Programming Experience (Python preferred)
• Strong Linux OS and networking fundamentals
• Experience building monitoring systems to ensure high availability, performance, security integrity (e.g. CloudWatch, Zabbix, Prometheus, Suricata, etc.)

Preferred:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience
• Interest and experience with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning concepts and tools
• Experience with Kubeflow, TFX, MLflow
• Experience with Spark and/or Hadoop
• Experience with Kafka, Beam, Airflow
