The Network Development Manager will play a critical role in leading the customer success team to serve client requests, grow revenue, and develop client relationships. This role will include P&L responsibility, and require a hands-on approach towards problem solving and business development. The Network Development Manager will report directly to the CEO, and be a key contributor in leadership and culture on quickly growing startup team.

Since our founding in 2017, the DeepBench expert network has served hundreds of clients in finding expert advice to inform their most critical decisions and investments. Top consulting firms, investors, founders, product managers, and market researchers all rely on DeepBench experts for the insights they need to make smart strategic decisions. As our network continues to grow, we are looking for a key leader to drive growth and quality of our expert network as we serve an increasing number of clients through our tech-enabled matching platform.

This is a FULL-TIME position based in Boston (Remote positions would be considered for the right candidate). Above all else, we are looking for someone who is “start-up ready” and able to thrive in an ambiguous environment, embrace challenges and responsibilities, and grow with the company. This is the perfect role for pre-MBA applicants with top-tier consulting experience looking to grow and lead a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
Clearly and proactively communicate with clients to build key relationships in both new and existing client accounts
Lead and grow the customer success team to deliver timely results to clients in a scalable approach
Identify room for improvement in current business, communicate opportunities to leadership team, and implement solutions.
Profitably grow the expert network business. Role includes P&L responsibility.
Professionally represent DeepBench to clients and partners via email, phone, video call, and in-person meetings.
Experiment with new operational and marketing initiatives to demonstrate ROI and efficiently deploy resources.

Required Skills & Experiences.
Strong client presence and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead other team members in delivering high quality client services
2 years at top-tier consulting firm preferred, but not required. Ideally experienced with both strategic and operational roles.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with others.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, communicate with peers, and meet expected milestones
Strong understanding of the expert network industry and offerings.
