We are a venture backed, rapidly growing company looking for a Business Development Associate to address immediate market demand for our product and grow and scale the business.

Darkstore has developed a technology platform and operating system that allows brands to offer same-day or standard fulfillment and delivery out of urban fulfillment centers across the United States, all with implementation as simple as a single line of code or as robust as a full API integration - at a historically impossible cost. Darkstore’s management team is comprised of experienced technology and logistics executives.

What We’re Looking For
As Darkstore grows, we are looking for a super star Business Development Associate, focused on e-commerce Brands. The ideal candidate has a diverse business development experience and a reputation for over-achieving by growing revenue in both existing partnerships as well as by penetrating new business. They are a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute to consistently deliver on revenue and growth targets. The person in this role will be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced and dynamic environments, with strong communication and presentation skills. This role will help set strategic direction and priorities for the organization at large and will collaborate closely with all functions of the company, including Operations, Product, Engineering, and Support.


What You’ll Do
* Develop and manage a strategic plan, supporting a robust pipeline that aligns to the goals of Darkstore and our Partners
* Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Darkstore’s technology platform
* Inspire customer adoption of Darkstore’s services, through direct connection and engagement
* Identify, develop, negotiate, and close large-scale B2C and B2B technology deals that are mutually beneficial
* Develop long-term strategic relationships and plans with our brand and logistics partners
* Drive opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net-new business in untapped customers
* Manage relations with diverse stakeholders, concurrently and strategically, with a passionate attention to detail
* Analyze, understand and translate sales data to communicate trajectory and to evolve strategy
* Leverage a strong understanding of supply-chain metrics in balance with opportunities
* Communicate and present relevant opportunities and risk to senior leadership in real time
* Provide an honest assessment of our capabilities with our partners and their aspirations
* Manage difficult conversations and own the hard calls. Own responsibility for Darkstore business development programs

What You Bring
* 3-5+ years of direct strategic sales/business development experience or equivalent
* A proven and consistent ability to exceed goal and key performance metrics
* A strong proficiency with deal process, tools and economic/financial dynamics
* Attention to detail and possessing the ability to anticipate honest reaction and response
* Strong communication skills and a proven ability to drive desired outcomes with both internal and external partners
* World-class organizational skills and a commitment to consistent follow-through on everything
* Natural ability as a problem-solver with a genuine interest in listening, learning and innovating
* Self-starter approach the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Experience with Salesforce a plus
* BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
