Hub Manager

Your responsibilities are:

• Ensure reconciliation SOPs are adhered and consistently carried out with HQ (dahmakan Petaling Utama) for all valuable items ( Meals, add-ons, Cash from COD, bags, etc.)
• Ensure resources (manpower and assets) are sufficient for receiving, preparation of meals, dispatch and last mile riders
• Ensure on-time delivery (AOT), preparation to courier handover cycle time and food & rider ratings dispatched from hub meet as per targets driven from HQ
• Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are sustained as per HQ requirements
• Own the overall upkeep of the facility and equipment, drive 5s holistically and continuously
• Forecast planning to anticipate future supply (e.g. sufficient riders, add-ons, manpower), as well as equipment & inventory (e.g. bags, spoiled equipment)

You are:

• Energetic and creative leader - track record of leading teams, solving problems resourcefully and bringing great energy and ideas to the workplace
• Builder - you challenge existing “best practices” and the way things are currently done. On past projects you have demonstrated the ability to get your “hands dirty”.
• Analytical & data driven - you are great with people and equally good with numbers. You use data to come up with hypothesis and are not launching blindly on “gut feel”
• Customer obsessed - you need to be nuts about the customer experience and spend days, months and years thinking about how to make their experience of ordering dahmakan magical.
• Hungry & driven - you are driven by urgency, you get things done today, not wait until tomorrow.
• Speak Malay and English

You should also have:

• Experience in managing > 20 dispatch riders as an assistant branch manager/manager
• Exposure in last mile logistics operations for at least for 2 years in ONE company
• Exposure in a company who ran large scale operations within country or regional for at least 2 years in ONE company
