cups is the most exciting, caffeinated start-up in New York and like wildfire (in the best possible way!) we’re getting ready to spread across the USA and we’re looking for someone that is a master team builder to lead recruitment efforts and manage the day to day HR needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES
☕ Sourcing talent through job postings, reach outs or networking events
☕ Screening candidates, setting up second and final stage interviews for potential candidates whether for full-time employment, contract, or internships at cups
☕ Assist with onboarding/orientation for new hires
☕ Revamp current processes and internal documents related to HR such as employee contracts, PTO, leave, terminations, etc so that they are in alignment with compliance laws
☕ Process payroll and ensure deductions/contributions are up to date and accurate
☕ Light administrative support including office supply ordering, coordination of meetings, events and some light travel and expense reporting, etc


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
☕ Has experience working in an HR department of a small to mid-size startup
☕ A track record of sourcing and retaining strong candidates
☕ Excellent administrative and organizational skills
☕ BA/BS degree required with emphasis in People or equivalent
