The Role

We are looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our Bookable Content team on a permanent basis at a very exciting time of growth. You’ll work from the London office alongside a team of copywriters and editors who produce and optimise the bookable content on site to enable our users to take action in the real world, ensuring Culture Trip’s house style and creative guidelines are embodied in every piece.

Reporting to the Deputy Editorial Director, you will be responsible for writing on-brand copy for places to stay and local experiences in multiple destinations.

Main Responsibilities
* Writing creative and precise travel-based content to appear on
* Writing insightful descriptions for places to stay and experiences across multiple destinations
* Working alongside our copy editors to ensure all content is published free of mistakes and adheres to our Editorial Guidelines, Style and Image Guides
* Working closely with sales, contracting and customer services to deliver content against weekly targets
* Optimising content for SEO with relevant keywords
* Creating articles and item pages in Wordpress

Desired Skills and Experience
* Exceptionally strong in editorial, with an eye for compelling content covering a wide array of locations and topics
* Knowledge and experience of content production and journalism within travel and culture
* Good editing skills with an eye for what makes a great story and how to engage readers with excellent copy
* Excellent organisational and people skills
* Strong understanding of the differences between social media and search engine optimised content
* Familiarity with WordPress is essential
